Case Overview
Portable crowd control barriers for events was used in a major summer music festival in Germany and France border region, hosting around 45,000 attendees over 3 days.
The organizer needed a safe and fast-deployable system for:
·Large open grassland perimeter protection
·Ticket queue organization
·VIP and backstage isolation
·Emergency access lanes


Challenge
1.High crowd density near stage entrances
2.Risk of unauthorized entry at open perimeter zones
3.Bottlenecks at ticketing and food areas
4.Short installation time (less than 10 hours before opening)
Traditional fencing was too slow and rigid for dynamic crowd movement.


Solution
We provided a combined system:
1. Outer Security Line
3.5m x 2m anti-climb temporary fence panels
Concrete base for wind resistance
Continuous perimeter covering approx. 1,200 meters
2. Inner Crowd Flow System
2.3m galvanized portable crowd control barriers
Interlocking hook system for flexible queue shaping
Installed around entrances, stage access, and food zones


Total deployment: over 2,500 meters of barriers


Result
·Installation time reduced by 40** compared to welded fencing systems
·Zero recorded perimeter breaches
·Smooth pedestrian flow even at peak hours (approx. 18,000 people/hour movement zones)
